What is it?

Oxandrolone was first produced in the 1960s, in the United States. The initial goal of producing this product was to find an anabolic steroid that did not close of the end of the bones as medics needed the steroid for children who suffered from growth problems. This was an issue as previously used steroid had a tendency to close up the end of the bone, which halts further growth. Doctor observed and came to realise that not only did Oxandrolone not close up the end of the bones, it was also a growth stimulant. In fact, this steroid is still used by doctors today for children with growth problem. To date, Oxandrolone is the only one steroid which has the potential to do that.

Traits

Oxandrolone has a mild androgenic and anabolic compound, which shows that this steroid is not a mass builder. A sportsperson cannot gain a lot of weight with Oxandrolone, nor will they be able to build a lot of muscle. For that purpose, there are many other steroids available in the market, which are more affordable such as Methandienone, Deca Durabolin and Equipoise (which are the mass builders). Note that Anavar is NOT one of them. However, we cannot dismiss Anavar as it has some very strong points; Anavar does not convert any dosage of Oxandrolone into estrogen.
